well someone had to start the cliched old thread !

 

Whilst actual prediction is reserved for Peter Watts prediction league, my expectations have been raised slightly from lower mid table.

 

i reckon we'll finish bottom half-circa 12th-14th-and i'll be more than happy with that.

I simply hope we can through in a couple of money spinning runs in trophy and fa cup,plus the league cup-good for the fringe players.

 

First 3 games are tough-if we get 4 points from them i'd be over the moon-and happily take a point from canvey game-whatever happens-you just don't want to lose your first game.

Hard to tell.

 

1) This league is so tight.

2) The squad that starts the season may be very different to the squad that ends the season (like last season).

 

Personally, I think we'll be fine, possibly top half. Our 'spine' (keeper, centre halves, centre midfield) is strong. Question mark over forwards but maybe Ismael will continue to surprise everyone! Does anyone know his full name yet?

beg to differ only 3rd so i hope you did this e/w for a profit of £146 on £10 e/w

On the nose! Anyway according to that Clint Eastwood film "Any Each Way you loose"

Funny i thought the bookmaker called me Clint too, when he took my money.......

One thing I'm certain about in my own mind Ian is that we will definately improve our position from last year. By how many places?. Well we'll just have to wait & see on that one.
