There have been some funny results in this FA Cup week-end and unfortunately for ESL teams,a part few exceptions,has been a slaughter.Our opponents had 2 shoots at goal,we dominated and created enough chances to win by a canter but the ball didn't want to go in!!!It's all on the day mate and even a sheep has its Lions day!Oh well feck it,it's Chelsea or Man U anyway! and there is always the real Cup for teams at our level..the FA Vase

Suprised stansted didn't beat kentish town

 

Did you a favour, otherwise you would have been travelling up to Stansted on a FRIDAY night.

From 16 entrants (everyone bar Sawbo) the ESL has 6 through, 2 to replay and 8 already "focusing on the league". Could have been better, could have been worse. Convincing wins for BGU (over a fellow ESL side), Bowers, Witham and Eton Manor.

 

Didn't manage to get to a game Saturday or Sunday this week despite best laid plans and all that...... some decent looking ties in the next round, North Greenford United v Bowers, the Aylesbury Ducks v Eton Manor, Kentish Town v Bethnal Green, and (if Barking get through) Barking v Redbridge......

Barking Vs Redbridge would be a really special occasion.

 

I really hope we can do it Wednesday night.
