Team was Turner, Lacy, Robinson, Osborne, Cloke, Ball, Marsden, Saunders, Ismael, Pinnock and Sherman. Grant on for Ismael at half time, Sigere for Lacy in the 2nd half.

Totally agree-although i also note that despite hunt being injured-Shaun welford is not making the starting line up at dover

Well after that display this afternoon I do not hold out much for the season. IMO the defence went to sleep to often. The midfield (apart from Sherman) was lethargic at best. The attack did fire on occasions.

 

 

Feel really negative Not looking forward to next Saturday at all.

You need a serious wake up call before your first proper match-and hopefully today provided exactly that.

 

Gives them something to work on in the week-and think about before next weekend.

 

I guess equally-it depends on what ones expectations are for the coming season.

 

A month ago ,i simply wanted and expected lower mid table ( 14th-16th)

I now think we are capable of finishing about 12th-14th though,and that will do for me this coming season.

You don't realistically go from a relegation team two seasons running to upper half team in just one season
