Greetings, and welcome to the Zamaretto Premier Division! I'm a Leamington supporter, and am after some info on your ground and local area please, for an article I'm doing for our fanzine on the new clubs in the division. What I'm after is some brief info on the ground, & food and drink available inside the ground, and pubs etc in the local area. Any response will be much appreciated. :)

Alright mate…

Well our ground is located on the edge of Windsor Great Park in an area that was donated by the Monarch when we moved there in 1911. We have ourselves a bar, a tea hut, a main stand, a covered terrace, two goals, and a pitch much like the rest of the division.

Food: -

Inside the ground head over to the tea hut for any of Sue’s food. If you don’t fancy a Sue Burger then you can head over to Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck for some snail porridge. Outside the ground The Prince Albert is good honest pub grub!

Pubs: -

By train you will end up in the town which is full of pubs, the best one inside the town is The Two Brewers in my opinion. Got the new Windsor & Eton Brewery ales on sale here too!

From the ground head out of the ground turn right on the main road and you’ll see The Duke of York a little further on The Fawn. If you leave the ground and turn left at the main road walk about 500 metres you’ll end up at The Prince Albert. It’s here for food if you want pub grub close to the ground.

And of course what is non-league without a pint or two or three maybe ten (result dependant) in Terry Hall our trusty Club House.

Club House:-

Our Club House has a pool table and a couple of dart boards so if you and the other supporters have enough power in your throwing arm we could muster up enough supporters to play a darts match as we did last season with Mangotsfield United Supporters Club. If you would like to arrange something like that contact Matt Stevens at our Supporters Club on wefcsc09@yahoo.co.uk

Special Offers:-

Throughout the season we are offering a “Kids Go Free” promotion. Any children under 16 can get into the game for free when accompanied by an adult. Also we offer serving Soldiers free entry to the game when producing their ID cards at the turnstiles to show the clubs support for their efforts.

Mascot:-

Our Club mascot is Scotty the Stag. He is a large stag who wandered into the ground one day from the Great Park and discovered his love for football. As well as supporting Windsor & Eton FC he will entertain the younger fans throughout the game. Recently he managed a 3rd place finish at the Football Furlong Mascot Race at Windsor Race Course. You can find out more about him here;

Anything else, just ask…
