Barking FC Forum

Recommended Posts

I don't know Anton, I attended plenty of games at both BGU and Barking and there always "appeared" to be more at Barking..... looks can be decieving and all that... and I certainly didn't count the spectators.... but they get a good crowd at Barking most games.

And you can't tell anything from the declared attendences for league games because in most cases they're just guesses.......

Could someone tell me why Barking FC do not have their own "club forum"?

I see teams with no support (Bethnal Green, Burnham, Southend Manor) all have club forums.

How do we go about getting a Barking FC forum?

COYB

You do have a club forum, links on our forum and below, been posted on today by Barking people.

Granted non fansfocus, looks better than that.

Mark - why don't you come back on here? I know you've had mither with Stansted and whatever, but I for one used to enjoy your posts and when not arguing with never been, you had some really good and interesting things to say.

There is a bit of an "anybody but Witham" culture in the ESL, but that comes from being the big boys and wage payers, it goes with the territory, as it did for Enfield Town, Brentwood and Hornchurch in their ESL days. I think that most people who visitied Witham last year will have really enjoyed the experience. It's a good club and I think most of the banter is just a bit of teasing.

I can promise it had nothing to do with the banter with Stansted i am old enough to give it and take it and actually enjoyed it when i was on a wind up and deliberately getting posts copied on here and Coachie was the best one as i knew i could still get a reaction, but it was nothing personal and just fun. I was told by compaq 7500 to go on our own forum so we did back in April and used this purely for reading and never responding. The final straw came when a certain poster picked up on comments we make on our forum, but fails time and time again and i have many examples i can copy and paste where clubs have absolutely slated the league. I have enjoyed reading your posts and only posted out of courtesy to you, but i am happy posting on the Witham forum and the Ryman forum, where the officials acccept people have their own opinions on their league and accept it and it is 100 times worse than anything put on our forum. If they wish to alinate me / us then fine. Post elsewhere, life is too short and i use a forum for enjoyment. All the best, Mark.

My mate Neil is assistant manager...well he calls himself that but he is teaboy, waterboy, general dog's body etc. I gave him his first chance coaching at senior level....how I regret that!

It was technically Kirk who gave the first chance- he said to show Jenko how to do it properly, our careers have been going in different directions ever since albeit both downwards. The teaboy reference is a complete red herring as he is renowned as the master of that particular footballing trade having learned under the legendary ' Triggs' at The Eton Manor Academy.

We got on well with everyone in the esl (apart from those blithering idiots at Romford)

Wouldn't be too surprised to see the artificial football club back in the ESL before to long. Hope you get on as well as you all did last time.
