Victor Omogbehin - RIP

Heard this morning that young Victor, only 22, died on Monday I believe. I knew him from my time at Ilford. Very, very sad.

 

RIP Victor, a nice person and a very good footballer in the brief time I knew you.

Indeed very sad news. He'd looked very useful for us (Waltham Forest) in pre-season, but more than that it puts all the football stuff in context. Thoughts go out to his friends and family.

Extremely sad news. Do we know what happened? I heard he had a heart attack. Thoughts to his family and friends.

Just to echo all those sentiments, had a minutes silence before the Barking - Mauritius game, a lot of those involved from both teams knew him well and was a poignant and emotional tribute. A terrific player, very likable person, will be missed by all who knew him. Very , very sad news.
