Just a couple of points:

 

I don't think that we have a Press Officer, as such, but if we have, I doubt whether he/she would adopt the pseudonym of "lemoncrab". The 'news' should be regarded as unofficial for the moment.

 

If Ryan has "signed a Pre-Contract Agreement and committed his future to the Woood", I suspect that it has happened in the last few days. Copy date for the local rags would be last Wednesday morning. There was no home match-day programme on Saturday. The only other media available is the web-site.

 

If Ryan has gone, I for one wish him well. A really nice guy who did a very good job for us but, for various reasons, never quite fulfilled his potential at The Park. I am very disappointed but a move is probably the right thing for t'lad.

 

Oh, by the way. For the avoidance of doubt, I think that we should have a Press Officer. The stuff that the local press produce beggars belief at times.

Ryan Moran, signed in midweek from St Albans, had an outstanding debut alongside Harvey in central defence, the pair restricting the visitors to hopeful headers from Grieves.

 

I am reliably informed that he signed a 1 year deal with them last Thursday.
