I take that back. Will get some pictures on Monday night of the new kit. Main changes from last season are a revised collar with 'The Rebels' on the back and the stripe down the side is now navy blue.

The shorts now have an amber stripe down the side which matches nicely with the shirts.

It's a shame that this kit wasn't in last season though, as even though I'll be buying a home and away one, we should have kept them for two seasons before changing....

This is madness!

1. Who authorised and selected the new kit?

2. Who is paying for the production of it - not only for the team but all the stock to be sold to fans? FRUS, STSA, Mr Deaner from his own pocket again?

3. Is FRUS back in profit all of a sudden? I definitely saw three pigs flying over Wexham Park yesterday morning!

4. If we had a good season and met all the bookies odds, are our finances good enough to be allowed back into the next division, whatever it is?

Sorry to be a killjoy, but looking at the long term surely there are better things to do with money than this - keeping the players we have, persuading Booty to stay and strengthening the side for starters - even finding a sponsor would help!

Is the 28th August meeting still on? Maybe we will get some good quality evasion then.

1. Roy Merryweather - Club secretary submitted the new design

2. Kit has been invoiced directly to new sponsors. These will be printed later in the month.

3. FRUS is profit? That's a laugh....

4. Unlikely. Deaner will probably form a new company and try to make some claim about that...

Thanks Gary for the prompt response - wouldn't it have been superb for this to have been published as a release on the STFC Website, so Angry from Burnham would have read about it and not needed to sound off!

So who are the new sponsors? Another teaser it would have been nice to see announced, along with the appointment of a new Chairman.

Which raises another question - Jonathan is a Director and the only shareholder of FRUS Limited, so clearly FRUS are still in charge of the Club - is any announcement to be made of this change?

Ah well, another example of mushroom management!

Presumably with a change of sponsor we had no choice but to buy new kit...

New sponsors...hmmm.

How about Foster's ("the amber nectar")?

or Tesco's ("Every little helps")?

or will it be someone whose logo you really would not want to wear on your chest, such as Domestos, Tampax or Anusol??

Gary are you going back to the old C.S ways. i don't believe you did not know that Tony Boot was back. The bloke i had a bet with said Roy told him and we all know how close you and Roy are, is this a playground thing "i know something you don't".
