Watched Knaphill v Hayes gate today,and after a very good start and an absolute quality strike,i felt Knaphill allowed Hayes gate back into the game by taking their foot off the pedal and allowing the opposition to gain in confidence.In the second half i thought the away side dominated,but only because Knaphills manager either seemed disinterested in making a change,or didnt know what to do,only making panic changes once they went behind.The third goal came about from an absolute awful decision by an otherwise steady Knaphill keeper.

Hayes gate looked half decent but their little fella up front looks as though he wont cause any problems to any defence in this division and they looked more creative once he went off.

by the way i noticed u did not mention our leading goalscorer was played in goal as our keeper wastaken ill aat lunchtime. wouldnt have mattered as he had nothing to do all game!

agree with brunty you cant say where people will finish and points after one game, congrats to the gate for the win but there are prob ten teams on there day in div 1 that can beat anyone

Why were Knaphill favourites? Because they finished strong at the end of last season. Apart from Farleigh winning, hearing that Knaphill lost was great news. Good work by the Hayes Gate fella, people bite so easily. Hoping that Hayes Gate have a good season and we all finish 15 points clear of Knaphill.
