great coverage TRS me old mate, I was merely pointing out that other people might see it as favouritism it was a Red card all day, he's a lucky boy, maybe your work can be used in evidence like they do in the premiership not that anyone was injured or hurt this time but perhaps in cases in the future this would be an idea

I hope not duncs, as I suspect I would swiftly be banned from all grounds if that was the case! Anyway, in this instance i think it's the case of the ref has seen it & dealt with it? Not wishing to demonise the Badshot lad, as it wasn't the worst incident in the world but just wonder why the ref only shows yellow when it seems clear cut.

Very good looked like the same side as last season bar a couple........very well drilled side who all know there job they will be there at the end no doubt so were very happy with a point at Bedfont Sports..........took the lead in the 60th minute they hit back with 10 minutes to go and pushed for the winner but a draw was a fair result...............Funny they have Knaphill next week what a big game for them 2 loses on the bounce

I see Troy Ferguson scored one of the goals yesterday. Glad to see he's at a good club as he did well for us at a difficult time last season.

Also at Chertsey and have to say they looked good. Deserved the win and will definately be the team to beat this season. Badshot started well and look a useful side too. Good game on a good pitch. Agree about the push, should have been a sending off but to talk about that would take away from a good game of football.

Cove v Sandhurst looks the pick of the Tuesday games and is quite local for me so probably end up there, chance of a decent burger too and tea in a proper mug.

Ta Bommie. Not sure if you mean in the first half, when an injured BL player was talking to me about stag do's and hen do's (just to prove I can multitask!) or the Chertsey old boys in the second half

 

The old boys are always a laugh to listen to and fair play to 'em as they are always there. Reminds me of the old guard that used to line up behind the Meadowbank dugouts, never failed to make me laugh during a game. Sadly missed....

Nicey I understand that the molesey game was closer than 3-0. 2 goals in the last 2 mins and Camberley had 2 cleared off the line at 0-0 and 1-0. VP did say he was impressed with Molesey. Have been chatting to a few people and I have a funny feeling that a lot of sides will be beating each other while Chertsey disappear off into the distance. Hope I am wrong but hey I am a ref so I must be right

Banstead have a young side and well deserved a 1-0 lead at half time. Indeed, it could have been more.

Horley grafted in the second half and when they played the ball on the ground carved out several excellent chances.

It was only a matter of time until they drew level. A well taken free kick brough the equaliser.

They went off the boil a little after scoring. Ended up a fair 1-2 result.

Banstead should do a lot better than last season.

First half was pretty much dead even - it took a great volley from Ricky Hodgsen to seperate the sides but Hayes should've equalised. To be fair to them, they came out stronger and hungrier after the break. We couldn't keep the ball well enough and the goal was coming so wasn't a surprise when it did. As soon as they scored, there was only one team going to win. We lacked sharpness, probably half our team are still yet to be match fit.

 

I wont argue that Hayes deserved to win. Good side, they'll do well

Our lads looked sharp agaisnt Epsom saturday, we made epsom look average by hard work and passing it around them. Young team, alot of pace and even Gareth Rapley is scoring!!

Roll on tuesday vs Cove...

Agree with what you say from the 1st half display. Very impressed with your Right Back who I thought looked a fantastic addition. Also good to notice a slight change in tactics about 20 minutes which I reckon changed the course of the game as before then Epsom looked comfortable. From that point on you were much the better side.
