Ben Turner from Barking should be a certainty for that team. He was the best centre half in the league by a mile. I'd go for the young kid at Clapton as the goalkeeper, he kept them in a few games I saw - he's a really big prospect for the future. Steve Willis I'd probably agree with, and possibly the left back as well. I didn't know his name but I thought the BGU left back was the best in the league last season. Up front I'd want to find a way of getting is it Goldsworthy from Takeley in? His movement was second to none - however, I couldn't leave Anton or Dwight out either... so I'd play 4-3-3. I wouldn't agree with any of the midfield except possibly Oshin. There was a lad at Burnham (tall, normally wore 6) who I'd select and I'd have to have Bricknell from Stansted in as well, and Stansted's right back (again I don't know the name). So I think that's pretty much my XI picked.

Bricknell really did cross my mind, his a very good player, good all round game so you have a case, also the stanstead right back which u mentioned, good player but for me he will be a better player if he just shut his mouth and play, the kid dont stop talking, he talks a better game than he plays,lol, but no dourght his a good player, difficult apponant so yes he also has a strong case and really did cross my mind, it was a toss up really and in the end i went for what i know and who i new best.

Billy Hunt of Burnham has to be in there somewhere. Would have been topscorer if he had played a full season (21 goals in 23 games)

 

Agree keeper at Clapton has a bright future in the game but BGU keeper was probably most dominating.

Bonwick - Enfield (Great Leader)

Turner - Barking (Legend)

Gaspar - BGU

 

Mackin - Barking (Best passer in the league)

Hunt - Burnham (Skilful)

Kadir Jama - BGU (Very Quick)

Bricknell - Stansted

 

Bocking - Basildon (Best finsher)

Lewis - Burnham

Sorry, yes i am a BGU fan, so who would u take out Anton or Dwight for Billy? I may have got a few wrong to be honest with the right back and centre mid but thats about it.

Not sure about Billy Mole TAF!!!

 

I would have Dwight Gayle in there I remember him scoring a lot of goals at the end of last season.

Looking at those midfielders how can you omit a midfielder like Dan Stanley who scored 19 goals from midfield or a composed right back like Ross Webster both playing last year for Southend Manor?A sacrilege if you ask me!grin.gif
