Super Saturday 7th

Recommended Posts

I don't know if it is the biggest game of the day but Egham, vastly improved under Steve Baker, have yet to win an opening day CCL fixture and face Mole Valley SCR in what must be, for Saturday at least, the biggest game in their history. We played well against Beaconsfield SYCOB (5-2) and won at Uxbridge last night (1-0 and hit the post twice) so I'm sure it will be worth a look for any passing neutrals.

TJ - i know our lads cannot wait for it -as you say, one of the biggest games in our history (up their with first ever FA Vase game, and first ever county cup final last year) - and shows big steps for a club that was just a Sunday side 7 years ago.

Thanks smudge :)

I have tickets to see Jools Holland at an outdoor concert so I could not bother going to see anything but thought I would go along to Sandhurst.

My first official fixture is on Sat 14th when I am on the line at an FA Cup game between a Wessex Club and a Sussex County Club.

Anything else you need to know mate ?

I'll be down the lane, another good squad assembled by mr day let's hope we keep the same squad for the whole season and we will have a very good chance but a lot of good competition again this year with I think five clubs can win the league, Egham, Epsom, badshot lea, camberley and of course ourselves, Matt Baxter looks like a certain replacement for pommers!! Good luck to everyone!
