Aylesbury Vale tonight

Well I wasn't sure what to expect tonight, but I didn't expect us to dominate a game completely and look as confident as we did. The first half was extremely enjoyable and we looked composed could easily have scored 4 or 5. Jemel looked good up front and scored a great overhead goal that provoked a verbal assault by the keeper on his defence (they were ripped apart). We put some good moves together and looked more like a team than I expected.

 

2 0 at half time, could have been more. Changes at half time disrupted the team but we still looked much the better team and had chances to extend the lead.

 

Not sure how well our defence will do against Premier attacks as Aylesbury didn't really offer much and Premier defences won't be as generous as they were tonight. But you can only beat what is put in front of you and we did comfortably, and the performance was the important thing.

 

When the team is settled I believe we will have a decent side, just might take a few games to get it right.

 

Less than impressed with the floodlights though, delightful dark patches adorned the patch, but the burger was nice so can't complain
