Obviously IOC has budget constraints and really does know what and who he wants but I was surprised to read in the IoT Times that Sam played for Ramsgate in pre-season friendlies against Billericay and Ebbsfleet. Thought he had a decent run out with us against Sittingbourne and showed great composure and skill when he had the ball, dissapointed that he may be playing for the red side but if they sign him he will do very well for them IMO.

Haven't seen the paper but it was Ashley Groombridge who played for the Rams in those two games - Sam's brother I think and I also think he played some games for our reserves last season. Sam would have done well to play against Ebbsfleet as he was in our side at Great Wakering !
