Farleigh green light

Wonderful news tonight when Farleigh Rovers were succesful in their appeal to play at Croydon Arena, thanks to everyone who has voiced their support over the last month. Now of course comes the difficult part, the financing, we're confident we've done the maths correctly but we would love it if there was a club out there looking to get off of park pitches and would like to ground share at Farleigh opposite our reserves. Please pass my number on if anyone is interested or pm me or farleigh fox if you haven't got it, cheers all.

And I was talking the other day expressing my delight in not having a nightmare trip to the Arena. However, congrats to you guys :brille008:

Congratulations to Farleigh Rovers on being allowed to play at the Arena.Love their Club to bits. But what really marvels me is Croydon Council put nothing into Local Football, but hold a civic reception for last years Ryman South Victors at the Town Hall Croydon 'Megabucks Athletic, out of my Council Tax.Graeme and Dave W. having praised the Arena last year for being the best in C.C.L..I have to inform you that the pitch at present is akin to the worst I have seen in Non League Football, makes Dorkings look like Wembley.Nearly £200 per week for a crap surface, with only one working Hosepipe is a disgrace.Wish I lived in WOKING now, but as all us Locals know the Local Council was once stung by a certain person to the Tune of half a million. So puts feck all into local Foootball. What you see is what you get with Smudgie,Rant over

Nice one, Spy

I'm sure you and the club will continue to give all your visiting teams and fans the cheerful welcome that existed up on the hill !

Don't see Woking BC helping Sheerwater out.

Funding withdrawn, no pitch maintenance and £250 per week which includes having to erect and dismantle the goals after every game.

That doesnt sound good! why have they withdrawn funding? im sure that clubs like Knaphill, Westfield have the backing of WBC so why not Sheerwater?! takes the mick really, they should be helping these clubs.

Probably like Croydon Council,as they never visit the Arena,in their eyes it is still an Athletics Track.
