Result:

Bookham 0-2 AFC Wimbledon Reserves.

Fairly routine stuff, but a surprise in the second half with the Dons sub brought on at no.12 - ex Fulham, Leicester & Millwall striker Barry Hayles! :o

You will have to introduce yourself next time TRS, I'm not sure we have met. Also I think I saw Smudgie on a scouting mission last night!

TC - bear in mind you will become a BTK by default if you end up in the Zamaretto wotsit league ;)

I'm old skool and still call it the Doc Martens league, but I don't think I will be ending up there as Bracknell are now in the carrot crunchers greek league.

Rayners Lane pitch is quality had the pleasure of playing a season down there very nice club............Bedfont Sports and Hayes Gate(Hanwell) will be the best two pitches in Div 1 I'm guessing warlington(Whyteleaf) will be very good

You obviously haven`t been down to Eversley yet Gunor No 1 :)

Stuart,I was in attendance, was impressed with your Fitness Levels,Bumpy pitch did not help, lets hope for rain, have a beer Saturday mate. Suggest the Pitch needs a heavy roller, and the stand seats need a wipe over.Beer prices gone up also.Busy Referee I'm the star mould, excellent Lino's.

I agree, Eversley have the best pitch in div 1 all year round, and knaphill's pitch is normally the best at the beggining of the season until the it rains and the it floods!

Moles lost 2-1 at home to Walton Casuals in the Mick Burgess Memorial Trophy, late winner in quite a decent game.

Cove 3 - 4 Bracknell Town. Popped along and watched most of this, The number 6 and 8 for cove were their best players linking up all of Cove's play early on. Cove keeper looked to of dislocated or broke a finger so had to go off and one of subs went in goal. Cove's 3rd goal, looked like a worldy top corner and was trying to work out whether it was a cross or a shot, but later on it was confirmed it was a cross! but good finish anyway! Bracknell plugged away and got the winner late on.

Might have been a different game had the Cove goalie not got injured. He would have probably saved at least two of the goals.

I was wearing number 6 and the game was a very end to end match. Although the score line says a Cove loss, i felt we dominated for many periods and if our keeper had not got injured, i reckon we may have won comfortably. The worldy was a shot, not a cross but sad to say not from me. I only do worldys that win cup finals in May!!

The disallowed goal for Bracknell, that should have stood, only made up for the Bracknell goal that was miles offside in the 1st minute of the 2nd half. Lino asleep!!

And to top my evening off, i turned from Hero to Zero by gifting Bracknell the winner.

Raynes Park Vale on Saturday, playing against our ex players Dobbinson and Vine and our ex assistant at Cove, Big Dobbo!!

Should be a good game with a a lot of bite!

I'll have a word with a certain person from the Western extremities of the County. :bolt:

Seriously though, we need about 24 hours of light rain to make any difference to rolling. The problems of whats underneath at Meadowbank, I'm afraid !
