Cove 3 - 4 Bracknell Town. Popped along and watched most of this, The number 6 and 8 for cove were their best players linking up all of Cove's play early on. Cove keeper looked to of dislocated or broke a finger so had to go off and one of subs went in goal. Cove's 3rd goal, looked like a worldy top corner and was trying to work out whether it was a cross or a shot, but later on it was confirmed it was a cross! but good finish anyway! Bracknell plugged away and got the winner late on.

All these pitches have been lazer levelled and are fantastic...believe me I have played on some top pitches and this was better than all including Ember court....Get yourselves a friendly with Rayners lane and ask to play there only thing is it takes 1 and a half hours to do 15 miles...

Might have been a different game had the Cove goalie not got injured. He would have probably saved at least two of the goals.

Rayners Lane pitch is quality had the pleasure of playing a season down there very nice club............Bedfont Sports and Hayes Gate(Hanwell) will be the best two pitches in Div 1 I'm guessing warlington(Whyteleaf) will be very good

Warlingham(Whyteleafe) pitch nothing special, but nice Ground.Certainly not Laser Levelled.

I hear you played the 2nd half TC was it a close game or did cove dominate,I also understand that you have divided loyalties this season both with Sandhurst and Bracknell is this true?

You hear wrong Duncs, I played the first hour.

Me and Unders had a conversation about the season ahead and it gave me a few things to think about.

I'll know soon what I plan to do.

smudge, that would be me that mentioned Cove, Number 8 and worldy, but i dont know if it was the number 8 that scored it? im sure a cove player can confirm? If so am i going to give Johnno a big ego from this? if so i can delete...... ha.

TC - I agree it could of been different if the Cove goalie stayed on the pitch and may of saved 2 of the goals, but also Bracknell scored a goal that was played through from their right sided midfielder which was clearly onside, when their striker ran past the cove centre back and scored. Anyway it was only a friendly and onwards to the start of the season!

No-one died and I wasn't lynched in the car park.  A sign of a good game.  Hey, I even wrote a blog about it:

P.s. ask Pearcey about the goal shortly after the IDFK for offside, that one will never get old for me  :-)
