I tried to get in early on this, but was rather put off by the maximum stake allowed being 62p.

They've obviously had hundreds of thousands of people backing Slough at that price so are limiting their potential losses!

 

Always a large chunk of guesswork by the bookies when it comes to football this low down the pyramid - but they've gone for the obvious choices as favourites in the Central and S&W leagues.

Lucky you - mine quite clearly states Maximum stake for this selection is £0.62. Wonder if SkyBet have me blacklisted for nonleague bets after that Cheshunt/Leyton match a few years ago!

I said that in jest. Just been speaking to one of their customer representatives - a 'business decision' was made meaning that I am only offered a stake scale of 0.01 for this market, though seemingly it is also the case for plenty of other non-league bets. I asked them if they could offer a bit more information as that doesn't really explain it, to which I was told they were unable to divulge such information but it may have been in part as a result of previous betting interaction....... clearly SkyBet haven't forgotten the names of those who fleeced them with that Cheshunt/Leyton game. Considering I only stakes £30 on Leyton at 11/10, when I know of others who laid 4 and 5 figure numbers on Leyton when at 3/1, I think I've been a little harshly treated!
