Despite losing 3 - 1 I enjoyed the game and the performance of most of our squad. I know there was an announcement of the team but I did not catch most of it. I would be grateful if someone posted our players names by shirt number.

I thought it was a decent performance considering the abscence of Kersey, Oates, Cousins, Hall, Kouassi and Matata. Keeper looked solid, but Micah Hyde was the pick of the bunch for me, quality passing. Good to see Booty back as well, who needs Bricknell!

It is always a worry at this stage that some of the players may go to have trials with other clubs. It is a two way process. I know Oates was an unused sub. but were the other five at the match?

Thought Tony Boot took his goal really well.

 

I'd be pleased to see him back in a Blue Shirt when the season starts.

I was very pleased to see Bootie back in a Blue shirt and I hope he stays. Danny Charge has played exceptionally well but (in my opinion), he would benefit from a little bit of support and expereience around him in that position. And didn't they both look sharp!!!

 

I enjoyed the game very much but thought certain players were looking a little bit tired after what was a busy weekend.

 

I'm looking forward to our visit to Braintree.
