Barkingside make offer to season ticket holders

Have often thought of ways to try and get extra people through the gates at Spa Road but my concern is that it may annoy those regulars that pay full price.

Imagine that they have paid the full gate price for years then end up behind someone who gets in discounted, other than OAP's / kids.

It does annoy regulars but sometimes clubs have to come up with these ideas to promote their club

At Basildon United we only charge £5 anyway,if people are too tight to pay that and many are,they can bugger off.,

What about the £2 half time entry. I know it sounds stupid but a club I used to watch some years back in the North East Counties League used to charge £5 but only £2 if you only came in at half time and you'd be amazed how many used to stagger out of the local pubs for the second half..... I reckon they used to get 20-30 second half regulars. Their pitch had a bit of slope as well and if they kicked down hill second half with the half drunk 2nd halfers behind that goal it used to create a cracking little atmosphere. I remember them coming back from 3-0 down against the league leaders one year to win 4-3.... incredible game of football.
