Hi

I am Spence enjoyed first season (2009/10) with Horley Town in Combined Counties League, will help the Club in any way we can again this season have been helping with web site, pictures, and been gate man last season. We are easy to find as normaly we are four me Peter, Tristan and Arron we make up the Mitchell family we go to most home and away games standing behind the goal.

I am Richard Lambert, long term supporter (1981), Club Historian, Programme Editor for the last two years and recently elected Committee Member.

 

I also wrote our history book Two Legs Not Four which has now sold out.

 

Now I have retired from the pastime I was best at, I hardly ever miss a game, and can be found usually behind the goal we are attacking, stood next to Steve Dyke (eefc supporter on this site), and another regular supporter Steve Davies, and am easy to spot as I will almost always be wearing a blue baseball cap.

 

I know very few of you on here by name, although we have had good chats behind the goal with pearcey and TC in the past. We have been playing Camberley for years now, so I know and have even been on holiday with Kroons, while VPCTFC really is as miserable as he says he is :) Then again, supporting Camberley and Epsom & Ewell has at times over the last twenty years been very depressing, so I understand exactly why he is like that. Actually, he's quite a nice guy if you get to know him.

 

Pop by and say hello sometime, especially bomaya if you are coming to some of our games too this season. It should be an interesting one.

Shall I order a consigment of printed T-Shirts for Posters to wear at games,so we can recognise each other.Must say the People who I have met Personally who post on here,have been very knowledgeable,,friendly,and a few have even bought me a drink.But was banging my head against the wall trying to convince Russell aka VPCTFC to become a Gold Member.I enjoy Football at this level as a supporter because you get to meet some characters,but have met a few a$seholes as well.My name is Peter,live in Croydon,just love Football,and if your ever short of a Linesman,I'm your man. Steve I notice your not a GOLD MEMBER yet only a FIVER.

 

Hey Smudge, are you involved with Croydon or just a supporter? I was down there a few seasons ago and just trying to put a face to the name.

Dont ask me, Im always confused.

Hi All,

I use this site quite a lot now and really enjoy it.

However it would be good to know who you all are and what clubs you are involved with. (hard to work out on just on nicknames!)

Be good to know for future contacts and the odd pint after a game this season.
