I'm Ben, although in the footballing world I'm know as Marmers or Marmalade. Watched Bedfont Green for a fair few years and played for them a few times back in the Pink N Hard days.

 

Liked the CCL when the Green were in that, but really enjoyed last season watching them in the Zameretto because most of the games were in my neck of the woods, Hampshire. Took me an hour and fifteen to get to Windsor but only missed 6 home games. Next season won't catch many games due to finances etc and the hour and a half travel time.

SURELY BEN, IF YOU HAVE SUPPORTED BEDFONT GREEN FOR SO LONG, AND THEY KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, I AM SURE IF YOU APPROACH THEM, THEY WILL/SHOULD GIVE YOU EITHER FREE ADMISSION OR AT L;EAST A REDUCED ADMISSION TO HELP WITH YOUR FINANCES TO GO TO THE GAME. THAT JUST MAKES SENSE IF I WAS BEDFONT, WHY LOSE A SUPPORTER FOR THE SAKE OF A FEW BOB EACH OTHER WEEK ?

 

COME BEDFONT HELP MARMERS OUT !

Marmers got to home games nice and early and worked the carpark gate etc for free admission and some of the away games we smuggled him in as our kitman so don't worry about that NG :)

 

I'm a volunteer down at Bedfont Town, as I'm sure everybody knows by now, doing a bit of everything from admin to kits, programme, website, fundraising, etc. Will be building stands today while we play Badshot Lea and laying the new floor in the boardroom next week!

 

btw I love your comment about knackers Pearcy, or should that be 'Smashy'? :smilewinkgrin:

Also voted onto committee as a Vice President at this years AGM

 

If you are down today, pop up and say hello, i will probably be near the entrance carrying a camera.

Steve Dyke , (known on our old website as Steve Profanity Code Violation) long term supporter of Epsom and Ewell ... i.e I'm now on my third ground with them. Programme contributor ,newly elected committee member with a brief for fundraising. New Golden Goal bingo tickets will be on sale at the Dave Wilson Trophy v Molesey at Goals at Tolworth this afternoon. £200 for a full house best card wins £150 .

 

I enjoy virtually everywhere in the CCL,good clubs with good people and it's by and large good honest football with players on peanuts or less putting the professional game to shame with the effort they put in . Will miss Pearcey thwarting us this season ... we'll have to draw Ashford in a cup.

I'm Nick, former chairman of Knaphill FC. Now Membership Secretary and Club Development Manager (Yes, that means the lights & stand). Not able to get to too many Saturday games due to work commitments, but make most midweek league & cup matches - home & away.

Where is the fun in spelling it out? I think it's plainly obvious who I am as after our Chairman Doug White I do EVERYTHING at the club.

 

I know it's tempting to name a few of the guys (like Krooner) but not in the spirit of the site.
