hi does anyone know anything on alex waugh.

Recommended Posts

Malgo FC - well spotted. Turns out they're a Kent County League side, not a Sunday one - so a better standard than was suggested. Found a mention of Alex getting 4 goals in a 7-0 win for them at the end of last season, also noticed Malgo had a Cordice in their side who's probably Terry Cordice's son.

I believe you are right Jeff. As for Alex I was told that Jay recommended hinm for a trial, I must admit he would make a useful addition to bring on as sub for last 20 mins or so.

Yes,as Jeff says I think you have the wrong person there. When I actually spoke to James at the Faversham game he said he was from Melbourne,Australia but he now abides in a certain road in Margate. He didn't mention how long he had been here though.

According to todays local Iain is hoping both Darren & Jim will be signed up in readiness for Saturdays game. He sees both of them as an integral part of his squad not just bench warmers, as he sees all the squad, wants competition for places. Interestingly it was Ian Pullman who recommended Jim to Iain after seeing him play when he was over in Australia last year.

Not seen them play-but seems good if signed as my concern was lack of quality/cover/numbers in central midfield.

from what i've read-if funds allow-waugh seems `worth a 'gamble' as well.

looking good.

On the other nights showing Michael,& if his form on the night can be repeated then MARSDEN should fit your bill for the midfield slot.

Cannot believe he playing was in a lower league for Herne Bay on that showing. If he can continue in that form, & if he plays like that when you see him Michael then I think you will be quite impressed.

But as I say he needs to be consistent & if he does maintain that form then who knows he could go on to better his career even further in time. Was very impressive on Tuesday, very impressive indeed.Looked a class above all others on the night i.m.o.

As for Waugh he hasnt been seen too much but he took his goal very well at Faversham & certainly looks the part.He too could go onto better things & will certainly improve there's no doubt in my mind about that.

I do read that for whatever reason-marsden did not quite make it at welling-but that could be for many reasons.

Lets hope funds allow for the likes of marsden, sherman and maybe waugh or another younger striker.

Based on tuesday's performance I am filled with hope for forhcoming season and this year a number of trialists look good. Agree that Sherman and Marsden look good. Also liked the look of Clarke when he came on second half. Good balance and touch. We seem to have plenty of talent on show. Lets hope the budget stetches. Pity about Cliff but no player bigger than club and clearly Iain takes a firm line on players messing him arouind.
