That article is poorly written in my view, and I know Craig isn't at all happy with it.

 

He took a cal from David Ward who asked how things were going and they had a general chat. Craig explained that he had a good bunch of lads and how he would like to keep them all but doesn't have the budget for that. He went on to say that he has some difficult decisions to make. but before then they're all going away for the weekend and he'll finalise the squad after that.

 

Re' Macca and Pondy.

David McSweeny isn't with us as we were unable to agree terms. Russell has dropped of the Radar again, he did say he was coming back and was in to see Gary Ling once or twice, but we've heard nothing from him for the past few weeks.

Personally gutted that Billy is not going to be with us, I thought that he was a class act, unfortunately spent too much time injured. Also despite the Chelmo connection, Nicholls

was excellent at the end of last season, I've heard that he won't be joining, lets hope the we find a decent replacement. (Hopefully we already have).

Disappointed with Russell Pond's actions, we voted him player of the year last year, Poor Show Russell, the club and the fans deserve better!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

I went for the first time this season on Tuesday, great effort throughout, The Keeper had little to do but looked a presence, our defence (as per usual) was solid. The midfield

got stuck in and showed some nice touches, the wingers were a blend of pace and skill, and both strikers scored.

 

We are looking set for a decent season. Lets hope so!!!!!!!
