decent performance and the team played as a team which is always a good sign.

with gumbs and mendy both playing up front at the end i think it is the greatest age difference between two strikers ever. (gumbs 40+ and Mendy under 18)

Mendy looks like he could be a talented striker and sippetts is injury free and playing very well, i am still not sure if we have a 20+ goals a season striker though.

Paul coyne really impressed me today, he seems to be very similar to pritchard as he passes very well and has good vision. we didnt get to see him in defensive mode though so not sure what his tackling is like.

bit sloppy at times but overall a decent performance

2nd half really started to get the passing going but a few frustrating moments when we got near their goal. final ball not really all that great on many occasions

good to get a clean sheet again after conceding quite a lot last few games

prob need another striker and maybe another centre midfielder. most areas are sorted.

Yeah, don't need too much probably just another centre back as cover if NBH is not coming back from Scotland for a while and a striker as i've mentioned 18 times before ;-) I don't see too much of a point in getting anyone in for the sake of things in centre midfield as we have good options there (Coyne, Swift, Byrne, Bateman, Kean), but if Adam Martin for example came available then of course you would take him as we know how good he is.

As for the match. Funny one, thought we played pretty well and probably had 70% of the posession throughout the game, but if you add things up they probably had more shots on and off target than us which is about the only thing that worries me at the moment - turning possession into chances. Decent run out though and nice to get back to winning ways. Hampton only beat them 2-0 Saturday.

Went past SYCOB as well. Pitch looking much better than it was 2 weeks ago. Couple of patches need attention, but nothing too bad if it gets the right attention on those patches. Floodlights were on tonight as well and look very bright and impressive.

Ha Ha love it Clive, can I just point out that I was not drunk!!

Yes I did miss the first goal because I was delayed in the bar, the second goal I missed because I was looking for the two fools that I was with who just left me!

Also we noticed the flood lights at Beaconsfield on the way home and the two experts (Aidan and Phil) thought they looked good.

Much better performance than the Saturday game against Binfield, although that was probably due to the fact that last nights team was nearer to our full first team.

Nice to hear Ricky Perks giving verbal encouragement last night as well, thought he was a bit quiet last year. Was impressed with Paul Coyne, and the general

work rate of the team as a whole. Good result.
