This post is taken from the tw@ts forum and is in relation to a museum in Romford of which they are moaning we didn't turn up

A) does anyone know this place exists

to anyones knowledge the club wasn't contacted regarding this,even though we are quite clearly the only senior football club in the borough

 

 

As it was, Paul, there were only about 10 people turned up. The advert for the event wasn't shown in the Recorder and people didn't know about it. It would have made a lot of difference to the attendance. I did a quick questions and answers on behalf of the club during a short break but think that the most important thing is we had some representation (where was anyone from AFC Hornchurch? I think that says a lot, not turning up) and shows how much we want the public to know about us. We've also made friends with the people running the museum and could find the opportunity of holding our own exhibition there some time.

It does make me laugh, they really do have a problem with us, if only we could bottle that insecurity and sell on ebay to some unsuspecting premiership prima donna
