Last night's meeting

Recommended Posts

Private meeting, public forum - we go through this every time there's a meeting.

However, as I'm a nice chap, here is a summary:

  • Everything is progressing well on the QE front.
  • Jim Cantle talked about sponsorship opportunities
  • Steve Newing is very positive about the new season - all of last season's squad have re-signed except one.
  • Alan Medlock is the new reserve team manager

One of the above statements is false.discobanana.gif

Can't say it was a private meeting!! lol

Father Jack is there not minutes that could be emailed to members? (not that they would be that long if that summary is anything to go by) Then indeed there will be no need to go through this each time.

One thing father Jack did'nt mention that I think is worth while. And thats the spirit of the meeting was outstanding, not one person from the floor or the table had anything negative to say about ETFC and a positive start is anticipated in the season ahead. There was a buzz of excitement at the meeting.

I also believe that this is a big season all the supporters can play their part in more so than ever before. And one way is to get out into your work place, local pubs, social gatherings and talk up the club by word of mouth and get as many people interested in our team and into next seasons stadium.

We have also had quite a few members over the years who have walked away (I know thats football) but lets also have an official letter to those individuels, saying that they are welcomed back with leaving by gones as by gones.

Roll on the season.

I think if I did this I would get some very strange glances from the good people of South Cambridgeshire!!! lol

Perhaps some people have to fit all they do for for the club around work and family life?

No-one asked for details of the meeting to be put on the forum, did they?

"How was last night’s Enfield Town Supporters Society Meeting? Any major news on and off the pitch?"

Well someone did!
