That is of course what i meant BD !!-but that given-we only have jay who i believe is under 6 foot, WW who is probably just 6 foot, and (has anyone seen Benjamin) who must be well under 6 foot !!

 

So either way-we remain short !!

 

On the subject of the midfield-what was that all about from IOC in last weeks I of T Gazette about Margate 'almost 'signing Sammy Moore before he went to Wimbledon; with KP and CE waiting in the wings with cheque book poised-far fetched or truth ?

I know we now have a few Dover connections but surely that was never going to happen.

Was it just a bit 'Trott like spin' from IOC- players i almost got.

seemed odd to me-but maybe it was correct.

History now anyway.

 

Realistically- i just hope it means that IOPC recognises the need for a quality central midfield player as a priority,and is obviously working on it.Still 4 weeks to go.

Am i imagining it,or do i recall correectly that when first signed-it was stated that groombridge can play in defence or midfield?

Maybe he is an additional midfield option-does seem to pass the ball out of defence more than most

I believe Sam can play in either position, although i feel he is probably best suited in defence. But he will come up for courners and set pieces. I hope he is given the opprtunity to play in more games this season.
