Away fixtures

I am just planning out my away travel for the season and am wondering whether to add Maidstone and Folkestone on to the list as I have not been there before. Any thoughts from you more experienced travellers on whether they are worth visiting, that is the stadium itself and the local shopping/attractions?

Folkestone is worth a visit. Nice bar, people and not a bad ground...is it mid week though? If it is, I would add caution as our previous mid week visits have iether been wet, windy and bathed in darkness after about 20 minutes...Actually, the wet and windy bit also applies to Saturdays as well....

 

Maidstone don't have their own ground and they play at Ashford (Kent)...or so we think at present. Playing surface was a bit poor when we visited last season and it's not the best ground in the World but hey, it's a must if you're following The Blues.

Folkestone away Sat 2nd April this is deffo worth making the trip should be a nice spring day and hopefully will be towards the right end of the table always get a good following when we visit the seaside top day out,not sure to about shops but there are a rather nice selection of public houses to be found

 

 

Maidstone not one of the better trips but go with the right people and you'll have a good day out .
