Ideas for the coming season

Hi all

I have been searching my brain for ideas for the coming season and I have the following:

  • We could have the Pirates of the carribean music to come out to before a match
  • We could have the same idea that was implemented at windsor where each player brings a selection of his music to each home game throughout the year
  • More fan days where kids go free

Any more ideas?

Many moons ago, when Slough were playing in the Conference,at a game at Kidderminster. They had an announcer come DJ and Kidderminister Harriers came out to the tune of Thunderbirds, which I thought was excellent, especially as music at grounds hadn't really caught on then.

It would be good if we could find a tune with Rebel in the title. Two obvious ones come to mind at the moment - Rebel Yell by Billy Idol and Rebel Rebel by David Bowie, both upbeat songs.Eton Rifles by The Jam also mentions Slough in the lyrics but the chorus might be more apt for Windsor!

I know we have in the past and I just think it is cringe-worthy.

Personally I think the best tunes for sides walking out to are:

Escape by Craig Armstrong

Insomnia by Faithless

Right Here Right Now by Fatboy Slim

Nightmare by Brainbug

Something high energy and doesn't bore people/kill the atmosphere before kick off.
