Interestingly Anna Chapman has begun a Political career having recently joined the youth wing of Vladimir Putin's ruling United Russia party and is destined to become the new face of Putin's Russia. The so called Young Guards Group has its roots in the Soviet Komsomol Youth movement, it was revived as a vehicle for mobilising patriotic youth on the streets to support Mr Putin and fight any threat of a pro-democracy revolution in Russia.

I didn't realise that Anna Chapman had been named 'Russian Woman of the Year’ for 2010 by a Russian tv station, the stunning 28 year old was honoured by state-owned Channel One when she appeared on its prime time equivalent of 'This Is Your Life' with family, relatives and friends lining up to sing her praises although former husband Alex Chapman was conspicuous by his absence:
