Hang about there!

 

Last season we were complaining about poor results through a combination of rubbish management and players not having any committment or enthusiasm for the club. And we still managed to make fourth place in the league (although we had the talent to win it).

 

We've now got rid of our rubbbish manager, and the players who are left will (hopefully!) be more committed, so we perhaps should give them a chance before starting preaching doom and gloom.

 

 

Remember, last season us forum posters decided that we were more likely to get better results from the team by encouraging them rather than slagging them off...

From what I saw on Friday we are a long way short of having a squad let alone winning anything. We need a goalkeeper, some pace at the back, Veli Haki, Tony Boot and a proper home. As only one of the three is likely (the former), the start of this season looks very familiar - shades of 1998/99, 2001/02 again, full of uncertainty as usual.

 

Thank you Mr. Deaner, Messrs. Thorne and Slough B.C. for an almighty farce.

 

Get us back to Wexham Park under the auspices of the supporters' trust and security for X million years please.

<img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> hi there dave here. i know they have appeared to have been slow at saving are club but maybe they will do somthing so we have a future. at least we are playing at the moment but all this about the school and other problems have obviosly still to be sorted before we can think about anything or ideas can be let out to us.this is going tobe a bumpy ride but with us all together as a trust maybe with more help from other parties we can survive and go forword with some confrence dreams. take care see some of you saturday at bansterd

That team is going no where, how can people say anything different? It was an absolute shambles on Friday night, there was no talking on the pitch and Slough just looked rubbish. Wake up guys and realise that were just NOT good enough.

 

P.S. Whoever put on this thread about Deaner and only having 3 strikers just sums up my point, we have a small, poor team, in reality we have just two strikers and the chairmans son. Is this moving forward..... NO
