According to the Slough Express,Gary Sippetts has done a u-turn and re-joined the club for this coming season[2010-2011].If this is true,I would like to wish him well for the season ahead and hope he gets to show all of us, Slough fans,his undoubted footballing skills and his prowess in putting the ball in the opposition's net.

I've followed Gary's career for awhile and hope he gets back to being somewhere near his best after such a freak injury / accident.

 

Last season,he showed his class/footballing brain/knowledge and reading of the game,whenever he started a game or came on as a sub, and I still believe we're lucky to have him,as he's a winner.Shame Elliot has left.What a fruitful partnership that could have been,if cruel circumstances hadn't taken place.

 

Still,there's always this year to do the business !

Yep is good news Garry has decided to stay on. Hopefully with a pre-season under his belt we will see the best of him and he can get the 15-20 goals we hoped he would get last season before the injury.

Gary hasn't been at the two friendlies we've had so far, does anyone know if he has been to any of the training sessions?

 

Only asked because IMO if Gary is to achieve his best this season he needs to train hard and play on a regular basis in the friendlies to get himself into the best shape possible because, again, IMO he has to first get past O'Conner, Sonner and Martin otherwise he won't do himself justice because he will be restricted to cameo roles for a lot of the season.

according to the slough observer gary is going to go into semi retirement as he does not know wether he can give the commitment to slough as he is getting married later this year.
