Holyport v Slough Town

Another excellent, energetic performance from the team.

Dominating the game from start to finish against a team that we normally struggle to beat.

Pick of our players for me were Sincs, Swifty, Sonner and Coyne with Sincs being my MoM.

I thought Sincs and Coyne had a good understanding between them and played some nice stuff down the right hand side.

Early days but looking good so far.

another great workout and again some good stuff played. seemed to be a good understanding between players and also a lot more talking to each other

could have been more than 6 though Holyport did have some chances that with more composure could have resulted in goals. think our keepers made about 3 saves all game though altogether

Mendy looked very promising. took his goal superbly with such composure. lets hope we see a lot from him. could end up being our 4th striker this coming season

Mendy's name is in the 10/11 squad section which I would assume means he's signed 1st team registration forms and looks like being our 5th striker.

I did hear it mentioned last night that Garry Sippetts has retired, but not sure how true that is.

Thought we looked dangerous last night, and with Swift and Sinclair we have real quality deliveries guaranteed from the flanks. We do need to get our hands on a proven goalscoring target man though in my opinion.

I didn't see last night's game but was impressed with Simon Martin on Saturday. He came with a big reputation but didn't always do it last year but maybe Simon could be our surprise front man for the season ahead.

We look good thus far, but the oppo has not been great. Just a shame we could not keep Elliot and Adam Martin. Martin alongside Coyne and Elliot feeding off Swift on one wing and Sincs on the other would have been great. Sadly they probably won't return though.
