Another New Signing

Recommended Posts

Ryman league Premier Division club Billericay Town have signed centre back Adam Flanagan, 32, who captained Dartford to promotion last season.

The former Gillingham youngster is the son of former Gills boss and ex-Charlton striker Mike Flanagan.

Adam played for Dagenham & Redbridge, St Leonards, Hastings United and Folkestone Invicta prior to joining Dartford in the summer of 2007.

He won player of the year at both Hastings United and St. Leonards, and was Invcicta's players` player of the year during his last three seasons there.

Personally liked the back 5 of Nicholls, Oates, Wild, Cousins and Haswell. Cousins is a much better Centre Back than left back IMO. I understand that we are going to need squad players and competition for places, can't see this fella coming here to sit on the bench.

I would hate to lose any of the above 5, but if Cousins is to remain as Captain he may have to go back to Left Back!!! :frown:

I agree that he looks a useful signing, but at whose expense!!!!!
