I think i'll still wait for official club confirmation of the Sigere signing anyway.

 

Pity about Young-but he is a bit of a poker player it seems when it comes to contractural negs.

Hope a way can be found for him to stay as rate him highly-and he is good- but not that good and indispensible just the same-so what will be will be.

 

What i do like is the sound of a few trialists-particularly this goal scorer-would be just great to uncover the next charlie austin-Poole town to swindon to beyond.

They are out there-and whilst we need some experienced/journeymen players-you need to uncover a couple of gems from the lower leagues who are hungry to progress .

 

(still feel there is a very serious requirement for a quality central midfield player imo-if only we could get barnes back in the fold )

Mmmm , Im not sure about a striker who scores goals in Sunday League football, IOC said it doesnt matter what level you score at ???? I remember him describing Huggins as prolific, which he wasnt for us. As for Dan Young, I'd let him go if he wants so much more money . He's decent enough but personally I wouldnt over stretch the already tight budget for him. Agree we need a CM though.

Bit unfair to Huggins that, he scored a few goals for us in his first handful of games.

Agreed. He had a virus and was never the same for the remainder of the season. Not enough rest perhaps?
