Maybe Grays will be in the Ryman after all.....

Any sympathy I had for Grays has gone. They don't seem to care the impact they are now having on all the other teams in the Ryman Premier as long as they get their so-called justice.

There's clearly an issue with the groundshare.

This has just been posted on the grays forum by one of the peope running the club,very interesting,by the sounds of it I think they will win the appeal,the more ghat comes out you have to wonder if there is another agenda by the league or other authorities ????

I have just spoken to Andy who is away and have read him these posts which made him laugh and this is why we kept quiet on this.

 

The issue is not a groundshare agreement because that is in place, its about who legally owns East Thurrock Football club so our agreement was in place in time.

 

This not about about appealing until we win its about justice and being honest.

 

There is also another massive issue which we will reveal when this is over that will shake all you rival fans to the core and you will understand why we need justice.

 

Please all believe this has never been an ego trip or flexing muscles for us its about facts and the right thing being done

What is the massive issue then now that Grays have been placed in a league that will shake us all to the core ?????

They were bad enough when Woodward was with them, they are even worse now !!!!!

Doubt if we are going to find out until next week.

Just pleased it's all sorted - I personally think that's the league they should have been put into in the first place

(Not sure of my facts here but wasn't that the league Canvey were put into?)

It gives them the chance to rebuild and doesn't affect the Ryman Premier teams.

If they get promoted into they Ryman Premier next season then they would have earned the right rather than

their lawyers bullying their way into it this season.

Grays can consider themselves lucky as they only dropped two divisions. They had already been relegated to Conf South and from there its two drops to Ryman North. Canvey (and us) dropped three divisions. If the status quo had been observed maybe they should have been put in the ESL?

Whether Grays were fairly treated or not, It is a bit delusional to expect to walk straight into the Ryman Premier when a precident has already been set for other clubs.

I agree with your comment about Canvey as we are in a similar situation to what they were. As for your team, didnt you fold and start a new club? If that is the case then surely you would have gone to ESL whatever league the old Hornchurch was in?

Thanks for that. Maybe we will get you in the League cup soon! Went to your game against Canvey at the running track last season and you lot played ok. Maybe you will make the play offs this season. i would just like us to win more games than we lose, last year was a horrible experience!
