mean while at beaconsfields ground

Recommended Posts

The work continues at Beaconsfield ..the pitch needs water and will recover I am sure when we get some decent rain... also quite a few weeds amongest the new grass...

The electric's for the new Floodlights has been upgraded.. the fire service are helping by bringing water to the ground to supplement the sprinklers...

next saturday the scouts are coming along to walk the pitch to pick up the loose stones that have appeared after the work...

the ground clear up continues .... with about half the ground now is clear of weeds and sweeped ...

I really hope that a few more could come down and help me... the work is just general clearing up, around the spectators areas...and more hands make light work...

if you can....please help...

ANYONE with strimmers (petrol ones) needed to cut the weds down outside of the fence areas ...this will be a BIG help..if anyone can help with this task...

work parties are every sat morning from about 10 o' clock onwards ..tools and brushes are around , and are in the supporters hut,

however if you can bring your own it will help..

Next saturday 17th July ..I will be there about 1130am as I am on early shift and will go straight there... but you will be able to see how far we have got around the ground..so just

continue the clearing of the steps and supporters areas...

cheers chris s
