Brache will be ok Inter-fering has given me his word on it. They are on a bus route & have a nice ground aswell & they're not from a village. Simon may even take his boots & shinpads on Saturday.

Had a few games so would the early season have a reflection on the outcome at the end.

PREMIER DIVISION.

Tring and Chalfont both have unbeaten starts from 5 played as do Royston from 4 played, Royston having been knocked out of a couple of cups recently may this time around be able to focus on the league.

Aylesbury after 2 tricky openers have responded well and are now on a roll and Hillingdon with only 1 defeat from 5, so early doors but could be an open league again this season.

At the bottom not good for Oxley or St Mags, Kentish in there too, saying that Harefield with a young side and manager now gone will need to recover soon before they get sucked in and daylight appears.

But with some 39/40 games to go......anything is possible I guess.

DIVISION ONE.

Berko, great start and could well do a Hadley and go from Div 2 to Prem in 2 seasons, great unbeaten start too from Sun Postal while Harpenden, from views of people who have watched them look good too.

But don't write off Hoddeson or London Colney, like the Prem, a long way to go.

At the other end Sport Benfica look doomed already, would they ply their trade next season in Div 2 or jump ship back to the Middlesex League, Stony Stratford having lost a lot of last seasons players finding it tough too, throw in Amersham and I think this could be the bottom 3.

New Bradwell although down there will eventually climb, still have an experienced squad and are yet to play a home game.

DIVISION TWO.

Not easy to predict in as far as if you are looking at promotion then only 4 clubs have the facilities to go up, Padbury with 3 from 3 should be a cert, but then in-different starts from Winslow, Bucks Student and Brache makes it difficult to predict, would say from the 3 Winslow would have to be the best bet.

As for winning the league, Padbury or Aston Clinton....shame the latter don't have the facilities or a ground share plan in place.

At the bottom think it will again be between 2 local MK sides, Bletchley Town or MK Wanderers.

No panic at the Hares,

New manager in place now and a couple of interesting signings done.

The only way is up !

Fair play, my prediction was prior though to reading your post....and it's the league table in May that matters though

The premiership will be between Royston,Chalfont and Tring- clubs with money.

St.Margaretsbury and Oxhey at this moment in time look favourites for the drop. Dont know whats gone on at Oxhey but as u can see St.Margaretsbury need a goal-scorer or two to get them out of trouble.

Division One will be between Hoddesdon Town,Berko,London Colney.

Divsion Two Aston Clinton

I guess you can be forgiven for writing us off already and while I'm away I would have hoped a little better from those present.

But when I get back, you might see things change.

Wooden Spoon,

When you say Royston Chalfont and Tring for premiere division title Clubs with money !!!! Dont you mean, clubs with good players, good management and hard working Committee members !!! ? Where did the clubs with money info come from ?

Being on the Committee of one of those clubs,i know for a fact players are not being paid !! i can only speak for Tring and say it is down to Phil Casserley and Terry Nightingale our management team who have attracted quality players to the club ! and they're determination to be successful is why tring are where they are in the league, Cant speak for other clubs but i would hazzard a guess and say not many if any are money clubs !!!!

Its good to see Berkhamsted on the up again, after a few tough years, Think they will win Division One title !!! Padbury look very strong in Division two, really hope Winslow and Pitstone do well, dont know why but enjoy visiting both clubs !!

From what i've seen in the Premiere Division, i think Aylesbury Utd will be strong, and thought Levy Green looked a decent outfit when they played Tring on tuesday night !!

I cant believe Ryan Redford is playing for nothing!! If he his then that will be a first. I agree you have good players, a good hard working committee and a good management team. I hope you achieve the success you deserve.

Berko obviously have the facilities, money, don't know, but that attracted Pitstone's prolific Lee Bunker over there and the best that Aston Clinton had to offer, fair play they are ambitious players, it's just hard on clubs like Pitstone, Clinton and others who don't have the facilities to progress.

As for coming up, Padbury and Winslow should achieve that......as for the rest, get some lights, a ground share or a mega rich Chairman, because you'd certainly do more than hold your on a division up.

You should really talk to your manager about who is getting paid and who is not getting paid at tring , who cares if ryan redford and burf have been getting paid except the other tring players that are supposedly playing for nothing, if you really think they are not being paid then you are not getting the full story.

You must have got quite a soaking last night at Coles Park, I'm amazed the game wasn't abandoned!

Dreadful conditions to officiate in and had it not stopped raining midway through the second half then I don't think we would have finished.

Patrick Where are you getting your information from ? just curious

it is common knowledge that phil casserley the tring manager pays the players himself, everyone in local football knows it except the tring committee who must turn a blind eye.

his recent signings from dunstable are shane wood £50 a week and nick jackson £40 a week. fact
