I see Bletchiey are anorther Divi Two to have moved ground from the Scots sports club , now playing at the old MK City,MK Boro, ground Manor Fields

The last time I went to the Manor Fields ground is was very run down so there must have been a lot of hard work into getting it back to a decent condition, its good though that it is going to be used again as it was a huge waste of the facitity.

'tringrarmy' spot on i seen northants play the West Indies in the 80s at Manorfields

Might try to go over there for a game or 2. Nice garden centre opposite to leave the missus at for 90 minutes.

 

Have they got lights? I think I read that there are 2 flootlit rugby pitches on site now.

I see there is a thread on this topic over on another's Forum, the feeling is that the Club will initially play on one of of the outer sanctum pitches at the Irish Centre as the main pitch didn't look anywhere near ready for football when the guy saw it at the end of June but then it's surprising what one or two people can achieve who are willing to roll up their sleeves, unlike at Club's I've been at previously.

I popped in on Sunday on the way back from MK - this was the next post on thread Rhodes if you'd scrolled down a bit

 

Looked a bit more ready today. Greener than most pitches I've seen in pre season. Sprinklers were dotted around the main pitch although I didn't get out the car to take a closer look. Some severe TLC needed on the surrounding though and some goalposts would be useful. Notice all their PSFs are away from home.

It would appear from the Mitoo site that Bletchley Town don't have a home game until 28 August against Caddington so they must have asked the SSML for special dispensation to hold home fixtures until then in the same way as your Kentish Town's for Athletics and your Hoddesdon Town's for Cricket.

Was anybody at Bletchley Town's 7-0 win against MK Wanderers last week out of interest, I see that they also beat Winslow United 2-1 two weeks ago and drew 1-1 at Kent Athletic yesterday so things must finally be looking up for the beleaguered Club

What ever happened to Bletchley Town's grand plans for the future, my guess is that there are innovative people at the Club who know exactly what they are doing, hence their recent improvement on the field of play:

i see bletchley town have got our old coach as well ken speed who left us a couple of weeks ago . think he had his nose put out . shame as i wanted him to say but i see he has moved on to better things .

4??! Can you carry on with only 7? With the suspensions I wonder whether they'll be able to field a side next couple of weeks.
