Herne bay attendance

I read on www.kentishfootball.co.uk that if reported correctly, there were 300 at herne bays friendly with welling today.

 

Welling are'nt exactly reknowned for massive support, so i am amazed at the high attendance for a july friendly.

 

What i'm not sure of, is if that augers well or bad for Margate,with Herne Bay just being a few miles down the road as frankly,i cannot see Margate getting 300 to attend their home friendlie(s)

this could be why there were 300 at Herne Bay for the friendly (see below) I believe he was going to be introduced today

Household name, premiership star and ex 'Gate player-Jimmy Corbett did'nt have that type of crowd drawing capacity on the Margate public.

 

Still a marvellous crowd at herne Bay-are you sure it is reported incorrectly CE ?
