If it is true and he goes to Swindon, I would be gutted for Windsor but very pleased that he has moved to much bigger club and would wish him all the best as he has been superb for Windsor and a great servant of the club.

 

I would be the first to admit he is too good to stay at Windsor for much longer, a top quality striker and very glad to have seen him here, if he could just get us through a few rounds of teh FA Cup first it would be appreciated....

He's very good at our level but he seriously isn't that good.

 

I suspect a fit and firing half decent League 1 striker would have scored 50+ goals in our team last season.

 

As a comparison, Michael Meaker was 38 last season, somewhat rotund, and scored 16 goals in 28 appearances in a Mangotsfield team somewhat inferior to ours - and, in fans' polls, he is regularly voted as one of Reading FC's worst ever players. (He was there in his mid 20s when he would presumably have been at his prime.)
