Anyway, I bought The Darkness on Mr Zeal's recommendation. Not bad, not everone will go for the falsetto voice though and some of the lyrics are a bit corny. Excellent guitar-work though, and very tight musically.

The Darkness. Trying to bring back the 80's glam/goth/stadium type rock. Trying to emulate G'n'R etc.

 

True story. I was watching Glastonbury when it was on a few weeks back. They ran a documentary type clip of what it was like to be a band at Glastonbury, and they showed the Darkness. Arriving in a helicopter, mixing with other stars, getting interviewed etc.

 

I thought it was another Spinal Tap type thing.
