As a senior club step 5 is the lowest they could go,clubs below do not have facilities to cater for many fans, that's why few ever make the step up.

 

On another note re grays this was taken from their forum posted by one of their fans clearly showing they did not have everything in place at the ryman agm

 

 

Read the Ryman statement its a great piece of spin which was possibly true at the time of the AGM as the club was finalising deals but isn't true now. They have used East Thurrock as a smoke screen, who was the delegate? Did they have knowledge of what was going on at the boardroom level? The final groundshare agreement wasn't presented to the FA until after the AGM. Certain people who are at the top of the Ryman League don't want us in there thats the bottom line. When we win the appeal I hope theres a vote of confidence in the people at the top table of Ryman League Football.

The number of fans you have shouldn't make you immune from relegation though. And they should have to start at step 7. Don't get me started on the fact that there is no step 6 league in Essex and teams being allowed to jump from 7 to 5 because that's another rant that could last all day.

When we went to the Esl we took 160 plus to most games,step 7 grounds simply do not have good safe enough facilities,they do not have money to police such games etc etc

Essex Olympian League fixtures too. Reason being that many ESL reserve sides now play in the EOL and until they know their first team fixtures, they cannot say what their pitch availability dates are.

Whether they are trying it on or not, the process that would allow something like this to continue in the way it has,is clearly laughable. Who is running all this? How can the FA come up with a decision and then be overruled by a member organization, on the basis that the FA did not know or understand the situation properly---why were they not in posession of all the necessary information about the ground share arrangement? If they weren't, how could they make a decision? And if they weren't--why weren't they? Who was withholding that information and why?

I have just spoken to Andy who is away and have read him these posts which made him laugh and this is why we kept quiet on this.

 

The issue is not a groundshare agreement because that is in place, its about who legally owns East Thurrock Football club so our agreement was in place in time.

 

This not about about appealing until we win its about justice and being honest.

 

There is also another massive issue which we will reveal when this is over that will shake all you rival fans to the core and you will understand why we need justice.

 

Please all believe this has never been an ego trip or flexing muscles for us its about facts and the right thing being done

It suggests now that East Thurrock are unclear as to their own ownership, or that there is some dispute about that.Its all such a mess!! Don't get me wrong, if indeed there has been some sharp practice,jiggery-pokery ,untruths perpertrated or similar, then good luck to you if your aim is to expose that dishonesty. If it were my club I would fight to the last to make sure they got a fair deal -- although in a number of instances this year not even that has been enough!!! And that goes back to the process involved here;it is cleary utterly inadequate and some of those involved are not up to it,not when the issues are so difficult to locate.

 

But this is not funny.

It's funny how some things mean something else ...

 

 

"shake all you rival fans to the core" - you'll be mildly interested.

 

"it's about justice and being honest" - we want to play in the Ryman Premier.

 

"it's not about appealing until we win" - it's about appealing until we win.

 

"the right thing being done" - hold those fixture lists.

 

"this has never been an ego trip or flexing muscles" - it's disappointing to find out nobody outside of South Essex cares, and even the vast majority there don't give two hoots about us either..
