With a number of 'rumours' currently doing the rounds, Knaphill Football Club Chairman Terry Chapman has released the following statement:

 

"I am becoming increasingly annoyed and somewhat bewildered by negative comments that are coming from people not involved with Knaphill F.C and which I cannot make up my mind whether it is jealousy or just mischievousness.

 

This is the situation We will have floodlights, we will have a stand and we will be the premier club in this area.

 

The delay on the lights are technical and not financial. We look forward to all you doubting Thomas's and rumour mongerers enjoying our first match under lights, whether it be our 1st Team, Reserves, Ladies or our new Allied Counties Youth side.

 

Onward and upwards!
