Rhodes
Buzzardboy - I just heard on the 4.30 news that Moat is still very much at large and there is now a £10,000 bounty on his head. Moat knows the Northumberland Countryside like the back of his hand and the Police have found a tent where he has been sleeping rough as well as another letter he penned of War and Peace proportions, the contents of which will be announced shortly. Eastside Urchin
He may know it well but he is a desperate man who has lost the plot, only a matter of time before he makes a mistake.i just wonder what sort of bloke he was before the steroids. & anti depresants fcked him
Rhodes
Buzzardboy - Personally I don't think Moat is desperate in the slightest, why would he be as he holds all the aces up his sleeve and has the Police on the run, a bit like Harrison Ford in The Fugitive
Eastside Urchin
What ace could you possibly hold up you sleeve when you know you will be shot when they find you
Rhodes
Buzzardboy - That's exactly my point, I don't think the Police will find Moat, he has led them a merry dance so far hasn't he
Big J R
Local 'plod' must be getting pretty worried if they've bought in SAS marksmen ! It's nearly a week now. Shades of ther Braybrook Street murders and Harry Roberts.
Rhodes
Big J R - Exactly, you're spot on, a former girlfriend of Moat's who comes from the village of Rothbury is quoted as saying 'as soon as I heard Raoul was on the loose I knew he would come up here, it's his favourite place in the whole World but when I told the Police they did nothing, there are so many nooks and cranny's out there and he could hide out for days'. Like I said, Moat knows the area far better than the back of his hand and I can see us having another Lord Lucan and Shergar type situation on our hands here. Rhodes
Buzzardboy - Well Moat has survived yet another night despite the entire Northumberland Police Force, Army and SAS looking for him, he is doing a great impression of the Scarlet Pimpernel isn't he! Big J R
As Rhodsey said, Moat knows the area well and it is extremely remote in places.

sjj2112
Do members think that fugitive Raoul Moat will be captured or he will end up putting his shot gun to his head as was the case recently with Cumbria killer Derrick Bird. Somehow he doesn't strike me as the cowardly type who would kill himself to avoid facing the music such as Bird and Hungerford and Dunblane killers Michael Ryan and Thomas Hamilton. 0 for 2 Rhodes!
