With only Danny Green to the 'Nam confirmed and rumours of Russell Pond departing, is this the quietest 'rumour mill' pre-season ever?

Well, there is always a down side BB. The logic is, keep your mouth shut, go about your business quietly and don't publish the players you have until they have signed on the dotted line...thus avoiding the disapointment of the previous seasons "we have "so and so" coming here" and then he goes somewhere else. Well all know a "handshake" means nowt when a player thinks he can get a better deal elsewhere. And also avoiding the posibility of the interest of our rivals.

 

Craig has maintained that he only wants players that want to play for the club and isn't going to be drawn in a bun fight over money. Seeing that he is quite an expereienced manager who has a good record over the seasons, I don't see the problem and I believe we'll have a squad of players that will play for the club as well as to their strengths...what that'll bring for the coming season, I don't know...consolidation and to a foundation for growth for the coming seasons? Whatever it will be, I'm looking forward to it.
