Davis Haule

Checking out the news item that we've signed Davis Haule I'm not sure if my memory is playing tricks but didn't he play for us a long time ago?

 

I'm thinking around the time of Carlton Mitchell, Clevere Forde et al. May have been for the reserves when Steve Playle was manager but my memory isn't as good as it used to be !

Certainly counldn't find any mention of him having been at Windsor before, but possibly could have been ressies.

• Davis Haule played for Hemel through August last season leaving in September.
• He made just five starting appearances for us (two of them in friendlies) and a couple of subs. A big, slow, loping centre forward, he never scored for us and made very little impression at Premier division level.
• Good luck with him, but i dont think it'll be long before the quality and pace of this division finds him out again.

I might be wrong but wasn't he an ex Yeading player?

Yes he was. Played in the side that knocked out Slough before losing to Newcastle.

Yes he did play for Windsor Reserves in a couple of games when he was about 19 / 20 years old. He looked very good and scored but Alan Davies was not interested in him, so I think he went to Hendon.

Dunno about that but I'll tell you this, our back 4 were crap last season. How the hell we managed to win the league with that shower of [****!!****] at the back is beyond me.
