[Eastside Urchin]

As many of you know,last week a few of our fans (organised by the supporters association) held a penalty competition at Scotts primary school,this event was very succesful on two fronts,one,making money for the events charity and two,promoting the club to the local community

 

Today,we are at Oglethorpe school in upminster from 12 noon where we will again be running a penalty shoot out,if you are around,why not come over and support the guys

Well done everyone who helped out at the fête today,we raised £214 for the school and hopefully raised awareness for the club through leaflets detailing our forthcoming pre season fixtures,plenty of people were asking about the club and many seemed interested in coming down to watch the team

I think it's important for the club to play a part in the community and events like that will help.

 

Would have gone myself but I had problems with Sky today.

It was good,I was only there for an hour as I had the nipper but i won an urchin mug and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.well done to the lads and lasses who put the hard work in on the day
