All-Day Sunday Sesh!!

Not me, unfortunately. I spent 6 and a half hours yesterday trying to get back from Norwich on the train.

 

I'm referring to Trev and Libro who kept me entertained yesterday afternoon with plenty of drunken text messages.

 

I eventually got home around 9pm, and went to meet up with them in the Crown, where we spent a pleasant couple of hours drinking snakebite and blacks, and singing Stevie Wonder tunes.

 

Trev's version of Superstition really is a sight to behold - one of the funniest things I've seen in ages!!

 

Anyway, haven't heard from the Libro yet this morning, and Trev's texted to tell me not to email him at work as he's decided he "needs the day off"!!

I don't really remember Trev's singing - what a shame! Don't feel too bad this morning, a little hungover, but nothing that won't be cured by a chocolate milkshake at lunchtime

valid but think of the extra flexibility you could have been bk from norfolk in 2 hours leaving 4 more in the pub with libro n co.. that has to be more fun then necking cider on a train to liverpool street

Measuring each other? If you're implying what I think you're implying, then I know for a fact you're just stirring, as three people (including me) were actually quite sober.

I do vaguely recall standing next to Ben to see who was tallest. Is that really the kind of thing that would make somebody want to leave a pub?

Trevinha seemed pretty sober too, I thought. She kept very quiet.

 

Just spoke to Mrs Zeal, and she says there was nothing of the sort going on.

I think Helen must have been referring to our 'see who was tallest' competition. But like I say, I don't see why that would cause anybody to leave a pub, maybe we've taken her message in the wrong way?

 

If Trevinha was sober she's a better drinker than you Zeal. I reckon we must have all had about 10 drinks over the evening, and most of hers were double vodkas!

i have a fair sized seesion on tonite aiming to leave work at 3 pm for local beers with some reasonable hard core drinkers and at least one 'category A' boozer.. 4 till midnight should do the job dont want a rerun of last tuesdays 4 am finish..

No, I wouldn't be sober after 10. Particularly if it was pints which get me pissed quite quickly.

 

I just thought Mrs Trev seemed reasonably 'together' - certainly wasn't behaving like she was pissed.

I think she must be one of those people who go quiet when they're drunk. Or maybe she was just intimidated by your awesome presence?

 

Zeal - When did you start watching Hollyoaks regularly? Did you really not know who Kurt and Rob were? Kurt was played by the bloke who's going out with Rachel who used to be in S Club, and Rob looks a bit like you in your younger days!

Last night I went to a friend's Barbecue as she had just come back from Thailand. Sshe brought with her two drinks and drinking them was like drinking fire! One was Thai rum called 'Samsong' and the other, I don't really know what it was as it was all in whatever language they speak over there (Chinese? Mandarin? I have no idea). But [****!!****] ME! it got me pissed. Plus I mixed it with other drinks which is always a bad idea.
